Is it always sunny in Santa Fe?
Most people believe it is sunny in Santa Fe ... my experience is yes, even when it is overcast, it is sunny andor the sun is breaking through somewhere in our huge dome of sky. (statistical average 300 days per year).
Now, the real question: does this make any kind of a difference in the every day perspective of most Santa Feans and our quality of life?
We'll examine this question in many ways... over time, contrasting various findings, annecdotal, factbased and even "faithbased" to get at the kernel of truth (i.e. I believe I am happy when it is sunny; I believe it is sunny in Santa Fe, therefore I am happy in Santa Fe.)
We'll also look at other facets of " The Santa Fe Experience" and what influences "Susan Harris Reality" and the reality of so many others...
On another matter, important to locals: right now, our local Santa Fe public radio station (KSFR 101.1fm -old frequency 90.7) has entered the 2nd week
of the 1st of 2 semiannual fundraising drives. KSFR is truly an authentic expression of Santa Fe culture. It's easy to get "hooked." And, for those not yet "local," KSFR currently livestreams at KSFR.org. I decided on a strategy this time: I make contributions during my favorite programs and then, if there is a matching request, I may also make additional contributions. It's fun. It keeps me "tuned in." It allows me to practice my belief in the "mutuality of relationships."
